CEO & CO-FOUNDER
Iona is a life-long vegetarian and now vegan. As an animal lover and foodie, she is passionate about creating plant-based recipes inspired by their traditional counterparts. She is driven to show the world that you don’t need to sacrifice taste to lead a lifestyle more aligned with the well-being of all animals and the planet. She has a background in the food industry and has worked alongside classical chefs around the globe.
COO & CO-FOUNDER
Kalie has been a vegetarian since she was 12 and is now vegan and a lifelong animal lover. She has a strong project management background, having managed numerous large and complex projects around the world. She has a passion for plant-based food and is working to make a difference in our food chain through sustainable, nutritious and delicious plant-based options.
Dan has more than a decade of experience in culinary management that ranges from fine dining restaurants and hotels to rustic cuisine. His charcuterie and salumi background combines modernist techniques with old-world and traditional methods of cooking and preservation - he brings this knowledge to the plant-based space and is passionate about helping to create innovative and delicious products.
Ryan is a scientist and entrepreneur best known for his work as co-founder and CEO of Wild Earth, Partner at Babel Ventures and co-founder and former Program Director at IndieBio, an accelerator and early stage seed fund. He and his team have funded 68+ startups.
Neil has more than 35 years of experience creating, building and managing brands from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
Alison is a lifelong animal lover, purpose-driven entrepreneur and brand innovator with more than 20 years of experience in brand strategy, innovation, product development and marketing. She went vegetarian at 18 years old and vegan in 2000, which shaped her love for creating companies with ethics and heart.
John has founded industry leading companies that develop on-trend products for leading retailers' private label programs. Customers include Whole Foods, Kroger, Sprouts and Trader Joe’s.
Sudhir serves as an advisor to companies developing new and innovative products; with particular emphasis on product design and development, business/technology assessment, competitive analysis, addressing the challenges of moving from invention to scale-up and commercialization. He is well-versed in due-diligence for M&A, patent analysis and strategy. He is a faculty member at UC Berkeley, where he teaches product development, innovation and entrepreneurship.
